Job Description

We are hiring a full-time Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a new outpatient clinic in Bangor, Maine. You will deliver patient-centered, full-spectrum primary care to individuals and families, emphasizing preventive care, chronic disease management, and treatment of acute conditions. This role offers the chance to shape a growing practice and have a meaningful impact on the local community.

What you’ll do

  • Provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan: wellness visits, chronic disease management, acute care, and preventive services
  • Collaborate with an experienced clinical team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
  • Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention
  • Work independently with strong clinical judgment while leveraging clinic resources and administrative support

Compensation & benefits

Qualifications

  • Current NP or PA license in Maine, or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • 1–3 years of primary care experience preferred
