OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician — Springfield (MA) | Full-Time, Competitive Salary

We are recruiting an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join our hospitalist team in Springfield, MA. This role ensures every pregnant patient presenting to the hospital receives expert, consistent care from a dedicated OB/GYN hospitalist.

Location

• Springfield, Massachusetts (opportunity to collaborate with local obstetricians and regional network)

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $300,000–$340,000 annually plus full benefits
• Full-time hospitalist role with flexible, self-created schedule
• Typical schedule: 7–9 24-hour shifts per month (approximately 21 days off monthly)
• No outpatient office management and no traditional on-call responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care and manage obstetric emergencies
• Coordinate care with referring obstetricians, nursing staff, and ancillary services
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Massachusetts medical license or ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated competence in managing obstetric emergencies and inpatient care
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
• Commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement
