Position details

• Location: Lafayette, Louisiana
• Employment: Full-time hospitalist
• Schedule: Typically 7–9 24-hour shifts per month (about 21 days off monthly); create-your-own schedule; no on-call or office management responsibilities
• Compensation: $300,000–$340,000 annual salary plus full benefits

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care
• Manage obstetric emergencies and labor/delivery cases
• Coordinate care with local obstetricians, hospital staff, and ancillary services
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Louisiana medical license or ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric emergencies and inpatient OB/GYN care
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
• Commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement
