OB Hospitalist — Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician (Birmingham/Mobile, AL)

You’ll collaborate closely with local obstetricians while enjoying a predictable work/life balance. Ideal candidates are clinically strong, communicate well, and are passionate about quality improvement and advancing maternity care.

Locations: Birmingham and Mobile, AL.

What this role looks like

• Full-time hospitalist role with flexible scheduling — typically 7–9 24-hour shifts per month, leaving about 21 days off each month. No on-call obligations or office management duties.
• Competitive compensation: $300,000–$340,000 base salary plus a full benefits package.
• Practice autonomy in the hospital setting with the support of a national network of OB hospitalists and local colleagues.

Who we’re looking for

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Alabama medical license or ability to obtain one
• Comfortable managing obstetric emergencies and providing full-spectrum inpatient OB/GYN care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
• Commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement
