Job Description
Brown University seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology physician to join a collaborative, well-established women’s health team in Providence, RI. This full-scope OB/GYN role offers a supportive clinical environment, strong subspecialty backup, dedicated staff, and robust academic involvement including teaching, mentorship, case review, and resident-assisted C-sections. The group manages over 1,700 deliveries annually.
You will join a multidisciplinary team of seven experienced OB/GYN physicians, full-time certified nurse‑midwives, one Gynecologic Oncologist, one Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist, and two Hospitalists to deliver comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. The position provides a balanced obstetrics/gynecology mix (approximately 50/50), protected administrative time, and a manageable call schedule.
Position highlights:
- Clinical schedule: 4 clinic days per week
- Operative time: 0.5 day per week in the OR
- Protected administrative time: 1 full day per week
- Call: 1:8 rotation, 12-hour shifts (holiday coverage differs)

Compensation and benefits:
- Competitive base salary range: $260,000–$300,000 plus incentives up to $50,000 annually

Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN training program
- Eligibility for Rhode Island medical licensure
