Outpatient Physiatrist (PM&R) — Brown University Health, Providence RI

Brown University Health seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physiatrist to join an expanding outpatient practice in Providence, RI focused on general, musculoskeletal, and neurorehabilitation care.

Practice setting

• Outpatient, non-interventional PM&R with onsite PT, OT, SLP, Audiology, and Aquatic Therapy
• Multidisciplinary, transdisciplinary care model with collaboration across therapists, education, social services, and community resources
• Opportunities to develop and grow Neurorehabilitation, Electrodiagnostic, Musculoskeletal, and Oncology service lines
• Teaching option: work with Brown University Health residents and medical students
• Occasional inpatient coverage: approximately one weekend per month (optional/available)

Key responsibilities

• Manage musculoskeletal and neurorehabilitation patients across the lifespan
• Provide EMG/NCV testing; ultrasound-guided procedures preferred
• Champion evidence-based, goal-directed care within a team environment
• Participate in service-line development and leadership opportunities as available

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
• Eligible for Rhode Island medical licensure
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• 2–3 years clinical experience preferred but not required

Compensation & benefits

• Salary range: $300,000–$420,000 depending on experience, plus RVU bonuses and incentives
• Sign-on and retention bonuses available
