Radiology Physician Opportunities — Chief of Radiology, General/Breast Radiologist & Interventional Radiologist (Providence Area, RI/Massachusetts)

Hospital-based opportunity in New York seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Diagnostic Radiologist with Breast Imaging expertise to join a hospital-employed practice. Position combines general diagnostic radiology responsibilities with focused breast imaging services within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret general diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI, radiography, ultrasound) and perform cross-sectional reads as needed.
• Provide comprehensive breast imaging: screening/diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI interpretation, and image-guided breast biopsies and procedures.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary breast care conferences and coordinate with surgery, oncology, and primary care teams.
• Contribute to quality improvement, protocol development, and peer review activities.
• Maintain timely communication with referring clinicians and support service-line growth.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging or demonstrable clinical experience in breast imaging.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; commitment to patient-centered care.
• Prior leadership experience preferred but not required.

Compensation and benefits

• Competitive salary range: $475,000–$535,000.
