Job Description
Brown University Health invites board-certified or board-eligible radiologists to join our hospital-based practice just outside Providence, serving southeastern Massachusetts. We are recruiting for three roles: Chief of Radiology (leadership), General Radiologist with Breast Imaging, and Interventional Radiology Physician.
Chief of Radiology (Leadership)
Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the radiology department while maintaining an active clinical practice. Responsibilities include driving growth initiatives, fostering physician engagement, overseeing quality improvement, and partnering with hospital leadership to advance service-line performance.
General Radiologist with Breast Imaging
Practice a balanced mix of general diagnostic radiology and breast imaging within a multidisciplinary care model. Responsibilities include mammography, ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided breast procedures, along with general diagnostic reads.
Interventional Radiology Physician
Perform a comprehensive range of interventional procedures in a procedural-focused role with opportunities to expand services and develop programmatic growth.
Compensation & benefits
- Chief of Radiology: $475,000–$550,000
- General Radiologist / Breast Imaging: $475,000–$535,000
- Interventional Radiology: $490,000–$550,000

Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology; IR certification for the Interventional role
- Fellowship training or strong clinical interest in Breast Imaging or Interventional Radiology as applicable
- Prior leadership experience preferred for the Chief role
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts
