Locum Emergency Medicine NP/PA — Frankfort, KY (1012 hr Shifts; Travel/Lodging Covered)

We are seeking experienced Emergency Medicine APPs (PA or NP) for locum coverage in Frankfort, KY. Join a collaborative community hospital ED with strong physician support and steady patient volume.

Position details:

• Annual ED volume: ~30,000–40,000 patients
• Throughput: ~1.8–2.2 patients per hour
• Shift lengths: 10–12 hours (days, evenings, nights available)
• Schedule: Flexible locum coverage with weekday and weekend options
• EMR: Meditech (or similar)

Clinical responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients across a range of acuities
• Perform common ED procedures within scope (laceration repair, splinting, I&D, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with board-certified emergency physicians
• Provide coverage in fast track and main ED as needed

Requirements:

• Board certified or eligible PA or NP with Emergency Medicine experience
• Active KY license or ability to obtain
• ACLS and PALS required; ATLS preferred
• Prefer minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
