Locum Tenens Urology Physician — Fargo, ND (Outpatient & Inpatient; $275/hr)

Compensation

• $275 per hour

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• 80 hours per pay period
• No call, no federal holiday coverage

Practice setting

• Outpatient urology clinic with inpatient rounding
• ~90% direct patient care: daily evaluations, consults, and follow-ups
• Coordinate with consulting services as needed

Clinical responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat urology patients in clinic and hospital
• Perform inpatient rounds and consultations
• Manage medical and surgical urologic conditions
• Arrange specialty referrals and ensure timely documentation and care coordination

Procedures and scope of care

• Cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, endoscopic urologic procedures
• Transurethral procedures for prostate disease and bladder cancer
• Vasectomy, scrotal surgeries, epididymis/spermatic cord/testes/penile procedures
• Bladder, kidney, ureter, and urethral procedures
• Incision & drainage of prostatic abscess

Technology and equipment

• Holmium laser
• ESWL (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy)
• Fluoroscopy

Preferred qualifications

• Robotics certification preferred but not required
• Experience with advanced urologic surgical procedures

Requirements

• Board certified in Urology
• North Dakota medical license preferred
• DEA certification
