Remote Locums Tele-Neurology Physician (Board-Cert/Eligible)

Board-certified or board-eligible neurologists sought for a 100% remote locum tele-neurology role providing real-time neurologic consultation to hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. Ongoing need with flexible scheduling; suitable for supplemental work or long-term telemedicine practice. Consultations include acute and inpatient cases, stroke alerts, and treatment guidance via a secure, enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultation to emergency department and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke cases and recommend thrombolytic or endovascular interventions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians on diagnostic and treatment plans
• Document encounters accurately in the electronic medical record

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Stroke experience preferred; vascular neurology a plus
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely

Preferred/needed state licenses

• Candidates with licenses in hand preferred for: FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
• Support provided for obtaining additional state licenses as needed
