Chief of Radiology (Physician) — Brown University Health, Providence Area

We’re seeking a full-time, experienced radiologist to lead and grow our hospital-based radiology program just outside Providence, RI, serving the southeast/south coast of Massachusetts. This Chief of Radiology role combines hands-on clinical work with meaningful administrative leadership and includes an academic affiliation with Brown University.

• Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership across radiology services at multiple community hospital sites.
• Ensure high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered imaging care while promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to expand service lines, adopt new technology, and advance program growth.
• Participate in teaching and mentorship through our Brown University affiliation.

Qualifications

• Board certified in Radiology with completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
• Fellowship training preferred; subspecialty expertise a plus
• Demonstrated leadership experience (e.g., section chief, medical director) and a strong grasp of hospital operations, quality metrics, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts and Rhode Island
