This locum-tenens opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking flexible supplemental work or a long-term telemedicine practice. You will deliver real-time neurologic consultation for acute and inpatient cases—including stroke alerts—using a secure, enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultations to emergency and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke presentations and advise on thrombolytic and endovascular decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians to develop treatment plans
• Accurately document encounters in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• MD or DO; Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Stroke experience preferred; vascular neurology a plus
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (support provided)
• Licenses in hand preferred for FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely
