Remote Locums Tele-Neurology Physician — Flexible Shifts, $210–$220/hr, 100% Remote

We are hiring Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologists for a fully remote locum tele-neurology role supporting hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. This position provides real-time neurologic consultation for acute and inpatient cases — including stroke alerts — via a secure, enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support. The role is ideal for physicians seeking supplemental work or a long-term telemedicine practice.

Compensation and scheduling

• Competitive locum pay: $210,000–$220,000 annual range
• 100% remote (work from home)
• Flexible FT and PT scheduling; day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
• Ongoing need with long-term assignments available
• Malpractice coverage provided
• Credentialing and licensing support; additional state licenses paid as needed

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultations to ED and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke presentations and advise on thrombolytic and endovascular decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians to develop treatment plans
• Document encounters in the EMR promptly and accurately

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Stroke experience preferred; vascular neurology fellowship a plus
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred
• Licenses in hand preferred for FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA (support provided for additional states)
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely
