Locum Tele-Neurologist (Remote) — Flexible Schedule, Acute Stroke/ED Consults

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible neurologists needed for a fully remote locum tenens tele-neurology role supporting hospital EDs and inpatient teams across multiple states. Physicians provide real-time neurologic consultation for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, using a secure telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

• 100% remote telemedicine
• Compensation: $210,000–$220,000 annually

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultation to ED and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke alerts and guide thrombolytic and endovascular decision-making
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Communicate and collaborate with on-site clinicians regarding treatment plans
• Document encounters in the electronic medical record

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Experience with stroke management; vascular neurology fellowship or experience preferred
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (licensing support available)
• Licenses in hand preferred for FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely and using telemedicine technology
