Locums Tele-Neurology Physician — Remote Stroke & Inpatient Neuroconsults (Flexible FT/PT)

Join a fully remote locum tele-neurology team providing real-time neurologic consultations to emergency departments and inpatient teams across multiple states. This role supports acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, using a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support. Position highlights

• 100% remote telemedicine with coverage supporting hospitals nationally (based in Houston, TX)
• Competitive locum pay: $210–$220 per hour

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultation for ED and inpatient teams
• Rapidly evaluate acute stroke and other neurologic emergencies and advise on thrombolysis or endovascular therapy
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time and collaborate with on-site clinicians on treatment plans
• Document all encounters in the EMR in a timely manner

Minimum requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Stroke or vascular neurology experience preferred
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (licensing support available)
• Preferred states with licenses in hand: FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely
