Locums Emergency Medicine Physician — Generous Pay, 100% Travel Reimbursed, FSED in Hendersonville

Location: Hendersonville, TN (freestanding emergency department, new facility; lakeside community near Nashville)

Assignment length and start: 1+ year assignment, ASAP start

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Day shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM; Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Mix of morning, mid, and night shifts
• Weekends and nights required
• No on-call duties

Clinical responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute medical and traumatic conditions
• Perform standard emergency procedures
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and EKGs
• Stabilize and coordinate transfer of higher-acuity patients as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation

Candidate requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM preferred)
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians with ED experience considered
• New graduates welcome
• Active Tennessee medical license or ability to obtain
• Comfortable performing standard ED procedures
