Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist — Jupiter, FL (Weekday Shifts, Beeper Call)

Locums Anesthesiology physician needed in Jupiter, FL to provide full-time weekday coverage in a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical environment. Candidate must be comfortable managing a wide range of cases and participating in beeper call coverage.

Schedule & call

• Weekdays: Monday–Friday; shifts either 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (8 hrs) or 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (10 hrs)
• Shift structure: Five 8-hour or five 10-hour shifts per week
• Call: Beeper call coverage for weekends and on-call periods
• Minimum coverage: Expect to work at least 4 weeks per month (no PRN)

Practice setting & case mix

• Multi-specialty surgical practice; high case volume
• Common cases: General surgery, orthopedics, GI, robotics, OB, interventional radiology, endocrine, ophthalmology, plastics, ENT, neurosurgery
• Trauma: Not included
• Dedicated cardiac team handles heart procedures
• Collaborative perioperative environment with OR staff and anesthesiology team

Clinical responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical procedures
• Monitor and manage perioperative patient care and hemodynamics
• Ensure safe anesthesia administration per standards and protocols
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, nursing, and OR staff
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record

Requirements & certifications

• Board certified in Anesthesiology
• Active Florida medical license
• ACLS and BLS (AHA); PALS required
