Locum Tenens Psychiatrist — Adult IOP/PHP (Mansfield, CT)

A locum psychiatrist is needed to provide temporary coverage for an adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Mansfield Center, CT. You will join a multidisciplinary behavioral health team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered psychiatric care within structured treatment programs.

Compensation

• $220 per hour

Assignment Dates & Schedule

• Assignment: 10/21/2026 – 11/17/2026
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekend coverage or on-call duties

Practice Setting

• Adult IOP and PHP programs
• Team-based, structured care with an emphasis on stabilization and evidence-based interventions

Key Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for adult patients
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Contribute to treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Provide guidance and supervision to therapy staff as needed
• Monitor clinical progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
• Active Connecticut medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience in adult IOP/PHP settings preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
