Join our Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center in metropolitan Phoenix as a full-time Trauma Surgeon / Surgical Intensivist / Acute Care Surgeon. This immediate opportunity is ideal for a fellowship-trained surgeon who excels in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting and who values clinical excellence, teaching, and research.

Key responsibilities and environment

• Provide comprehensive trauma, emergency, and critical care surgical services within a designated Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and report to the Chief of Trauma and the Chair of Surgery.
• Participate in academic activities including teaching, mentoring, and research (health services, translational, or basic science opportunities available).

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency and surgical critical care fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care (American Board of Surgery)
• Demonstrated expertise in emergency surgery, trauma care, and surgical critical care
• Record of teaching and research involvement
