Job Description
Join a physician-owned, boutique orthopedic practice in San Antonio, Texas, where fellowship-trained surgeons focus on delivering high-quality, individualized Foot & Ankle care. This is an opportunity to be part of a specialized, subspecialty-driven team that values clinical autonomy and thoughtful, patient-focused treatment—different from the high-volume, multi-specialty groups you may have seen.
About the practice
- Small, physician-owned group with a subspecialty focus on Foot & Ankle care
- Team of fellowship-trained surgeons who collaborate closely while preserving each surgeon’s clinical independence
- Culture that prioritizes quality over quantity and emphasizes a high-touch patient experience
- Pathway to equity partnership for clinicians who want a long-term leadership role
What you’ll do
- Evaluate and manage a full spectrum of foot and ankle conditions, from acute injuries to complex, chronic disorders
- Perform advanced Foot & Ankle surgical procedures and develop individualized treatment plans
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
- Contribute to practice growth through involvement in development initiatives and quality improvement
Who we’re looking for
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an orthopedic surgery residency and fellowship training in Foot & Ankle surgery
- Board certified or board eligible in orthopedic surgery
- Eligible for medical licensure in Texas
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a patient-centered approach that fits our boutique model
Compensation & benefits
- Competitive base salary with productivity-based incentives
- Equity partnership track
- Malpractice insurance coverage
- CME allowance and generous paid time off
- Retirement plan options
- Relocation assistance, when applicable
