Locums CRNA (Float) — Clare/Gladwin/West Branch, MI

We’re looking for a Locum CRNA to float between Clare, Gladwin, and West Branch, Michigan, providing anesthesia coverage in an independent practice model. You’ll see a solid mix of “bread-and-butter” cases, enjoy a mostly outpatient caseload, and have a predictable, manageable call schedule that’s primarily based in Clare.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)

Call

• Call primarily in Clare (1-hour response time)
• Rotation: 1:3
• No OB call
• Weeknight call coverage until 11:00 PM; weekend coverage 7:00 AM–11:00 PM
• Expect 1–2 holidays per year

Practice setting

• Independent CRNA model
• Approximately 80–90% outpatient, 10–20% inpatient
• EMR: Epic

Typical case mix and procedures

• General anesthesia and MAC cases (bread-and-butter cases)
• Scopes/GI cases (GI procedures performed at Gladwin)
• Laparoscopic abdominal cases
• Ophthalmology (cataracts)
• Podiatry (about 4 days/month)
• Orthopedics (about ½ day/month, includes nerve blocks)
• Vascular cases occasionally (roughly 1 day/month)
• Cardiology support (TEEs, cardioversions)
• Regional anesthesia — blocks optional, with support available if you want a refresher
• Ward and ED support for IV access, airway management, and anesthesia expertise

Required credentials

• Active Michigan license
• ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Prior experience practicing independently preferred
