Locums Weekend Surgical NP or PA — Inpatient General Surgery & Trauma (Dallas, TX)

We’re seeking a locum provider to cover inpatient consults for adult general surgery and trauma patients in Dallas. This is a weekend daytime role that allows you to work collaboratively with surgeons and a strong nursing team in an acute care setting.

Schedule

• Weekend coverage only
• Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

What you’ll be doing

• Complete inpatient consults for general surgery and trauma patients
• Perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage follow-ups
• Work closely with attending surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care environment

Practice setting

• Inpatient consultation service for adult general surgery and trauma
• Strong nursing support on-site
• No First Assist responsibilities required

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner (NP)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Acute Care Adult Certification required
• Active Texas license

Physician Assistant (PA)

• Board Certified or eligible to practice in Texas
• Active Texas license
