Locums Cognitive & Behavioral Neurointerventional Physician — Outpatient Dementia Clinic, Hackensack (No Call)

We’re looking for a locum Cognitive/Behavioral Neurointerventional specialist to provide outpatient clinic coverage in Hackensack, New Jersey. You’ll focus on evaluating and managing adults with cognitive and neurodegenerative disorders in a collaborative, well-supported clinic setting.

Compensation

• $250 per hour

What you’ll be doing

• Outpatient clinic-only role (no procedures)
• Longitudinal care of adults 22 and older, with a predominantly geriatric patient panel
• Mix of new and follow-up visits: roughly 3–4 new patients and 6–8 follow-ups per day
• Work within Epic for charting and documentation

Schedule and logistics

• Minimum of 4 days per week (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; 8-hour days)
• Specific weekdays are flexible based on your availability
• No call and no weekend coverage

Typical conditions you’ll treat

• Alzheimer’s disease
• Various dementias, including Parkinson’s-related dementia
• Mild cognitive impairment and other memory disorders

Qualifications

• Completion of a Cognitive Neurology and/or Behavioral Neurology fellowship
• Dementia fellowship strongly preferred
• Neurology board certified or board eligible
• Active New Jersey medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong experience in outpatient cognitive and dementia care
