Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician — Port Charlotte, FL

Join a supportive team in Port Charlotte, FL, as a locum tenens Emergency Medicine physician where your skills will make an immediate impact. You’ll work flexible shifts across emergency department settings, caring for patients with a wide range of acute needs—everything from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions. Your day-to-day will include focused history-taking and physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, initiating treatment plans, performing minor procedures when needed, and coordinating care with nurses and consultants to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

We’re looking for clinicians who are comfortable making fast, confident decisions and communicating clearly with patients and families during stressful moments. This role is ideal if you value variety, teamwork, and the chance to practice in a welcoming coastal community.

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
• Active Florida medical license
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
