Locums Emergency Medicine Physician — Ocala, FL (Flexible Shifts, High-Volume ED)

We are seeking a dedicated Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to support our emergency department in Ocala, FL. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, timely care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions and injuries.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform rapid, thorough assessments and stabilization of emergency patients.
• Formulate and execute diagnostic and treatment plans across age groups and acuity levels.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, consultants, and ancillary services to ensure continuity of care.
• Document clinical encounters accurately and comply with departmental protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain one).
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
