Locums Family/Internal Medicine Physician — Flexible PRN to Full-Time at Benson Community Health Center

We’re looking for a compassionate Locums Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join a community health center in Benson, Arizona. This role is a great fit for physicians experienced in adult medicine who enjoy delivering high-quality, patient-centered outpatient care in a community-focused setting.

What the role offers

• Flexible scheduling: PRN, part-time, or full-time
• Shift options: half days or full days to suit your availability
• Practice setting: outpatient adult medicine at a Community Health Center
• Typical patient volume: about 3–4 patients per hour

Core responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult patients
• Diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic conditions
• Deliver preventive care, health screenings, and patient education
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless services
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and meet charting standards

Who we’re looking for

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active, unrestricted Arizona medical license and DEA registration
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent bedside manner, and effective communication skills
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, community-focused environment
