Locum Tenens Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician — Hesperia, CA (Board-Certified)

We’re seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine physician to provide outpatient coverage in Hesperia, CA (92345). This is a locum tenens assignment starting July 1, 2026, and continuing on an ongoing basis to cover a medical leave. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care to a diverse patient panel.
• Manage roughly 20 patients per day in the clinic.
• Document encounters, place orders, and write prescriptions using Epic.
• Work closely with on-site RNs, MAs, PA/NPs, and office staff.
• Participate in payor credentialing as needed and maintain an active California medical license.

Logistics & support

• Service setting: Outpatient, clinical-only coverage.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided by the agency.
• No hospital privileges required.
• Credentialing typically takes about two weeks.

Requirements

• Board certified in Internal Medicine.
• Active California medical license and DEA registration.
• BLS certification.
