Schedule: Full time; 4 × 10-hour shifts, Tuesday–Friday. On-call required (nights, holidays, weekends).

Rate: $3,160 per 40-hour week (travel)

Required qualifications

• Current, full, unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska at time of submission (AK license required).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years operating room experience as a circulator (must have circulator position experience).
• 3+ years clinical nursing experience total.
• Flu vaccine required.

Scope of practice / responsibilities

• Serve as OR circulator for elective and emergency cases including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedics, vascular, and OB/GYN.
• Coordinate and prioritize workflow to keep surgical cases on schedule.
• Provide perioperative patient care, ensure aseptic technique, assist with equipment and supplies, and document care per facility policy.
• Participate in after-hours call rotations to staff the OR for nights, holidays and weekends.
