Locum tenens opportunity for an OB/GYN to provide 24-hour in-house coverage at a hospital in Lebanon, PA from June 18, 2026 to September 17, 2026. Schedule consists of 24-hour shifts (7:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m.) covering clinical duties and call.
Highlights
- Annual deliveries: ~700 with a high-risk case mix, VBACs, and frequent C-sections
- Department beds: 163
- EMR: EPIC
- Specialty backup: Maternal–Fetal Medicine available
- On-site support: RNs and 2 midwives
- Reason for coverage: Supplemental
Clinical responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour in-house call and serve as primary on-site provider during shifts
- Manage high-risk deliveries, perform VBACs and C-sections
- Collaborate closely with midwives and MFM specialists
- Document care using EPIC
Qualifications and compliance
- PA medical license required to apply
- Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- DEA registration required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Temporary privileges available with a clean file; credentialing timeline ~90 days
