We’re seeking a board-certified interventional cardiologist to provide locum tenens inpatient coverage in Everett, WA. This role runs from July 5 through December 30, 2026, with specific coverage blocks listed below. You’ll work onsite weekdays from 7:00 AM–5:00 PM and take beeper call each evening (5:00 PM–7:00 AM) with a 30-minute response time for urgent or emergent cases. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided by the agency.

What to expect day-to-day:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient interventional cardiology care, including diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Round on assigned patients and coordinate care with attending physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in evening and weekend beeper call for urgent consults and procedures (30-minute response expectation).
- Supervise and collaborate with PA/NPs (there are 4) and support staff to ensure continuous, high-quality care.
- Accurately document encounters, procedures, and care plans in Epic.
Patient and facility details:
- Average daily volume: ~7 patients/day
- Rounding: both inpatient and consults; phone consults expected
- EMR: Epic
- Support team: PA/NPs: 4 (RNs, MAs, and office staff TBD)
- Temporary hospital privileges are available; hospital privileges are not required beforehand.
Requirements:
- Board certified in Interventional Cardiology (BC required)
- WA medical license or IMLC/Universal license accepted
- DEA registration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Fellowship training preferred
