Locum tenens opportunity in Missoula, MT (59802) providing inpatient nephrology beeper-call coverage. Two consecutive weeks of 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 AM) are required: Dec 18–25, 2026 and Dec 25, 2026–Jan 1, 2027. This supplemental role requires response to beeper calls within 20 minutes and management of an average daily patient volume of 10–20, including phone consults.
Facility & support
- EMR: Epic
- Onsite support: RNs (1), MAs (1); PA/NP and office staff TBD
- Temporary hospital privileges available; permanent privileges not required
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided by the agency
Clinical duties
- Provide inpatient nephrology call coverage for consecutive 24-hour shifts
- Triage and manage consults (in-person and phone) consistent with facility protocols
- Coordinate care with nursing and ancillary staff
Requirements
- Board-certified in Nephrology (BC required)
- Licensed in Montana or eligible via the IMLC (Universal License)
- Active DEA registration
- Fellowship training preferred
