Cath Lab Technologist Electrophysiology (EP) Contract/Travel Sun City, AZ

Join a contract/travel team in Sun City, AZ supporting cardiovascular Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) procedures. This day-shift, Monday–Friday role is available ASAP and requires an experienced, credentialed technologist comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity procedural environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Cath Lab credentials (RCIS, RCES, or equivalent) as required
• Prefer graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology or related program
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Prior Cath Lab and EP experience mandatory
• Solid understanding of cardiac anatomy, arrhythmias, and EP procedures
• Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, and communication skills

Key responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology procedures, including device implants, ablations, and diagnostic EP studies
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies; ensure sterile field and adherence to radiation safety
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic and EP recording systems; monitor patient status and respond to intra-procedural changes
• Document procedural data and patient information accurately
• Perform routine care, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment
