Required license:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Diagnose type and severity of communication and swallowing issues.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide direct therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia; teach patients and families compensatory strategies and exercises.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team.
