Required Credentials & Experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-appropriate)
• Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with behavioral health conditions
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document interventions
• Assess patient status, report changes, and escalate per protocol
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and follow facility policies and safety procedures

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of psychiatric/behavioral health nursing principles and crisis intervention
• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Effective communication and teamwork within multidisciplinary settings

Licensure/Certifications:

• Active RN license (must meet state requirements)
• Additional certifications (e.g., BLS) as required by facility
