Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — 7-Week Contract, Evening Shift — High Point, NC

We're looking for a practical, compassionate nurse to join a High Point, NC team on a 7-week contract beginning June 4, 2026. This is an evening shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) as a travel/contract assignment.

What the assignment looks like

• Location: High Point, North Carolina
• Start date: June 4, 2026
• Duration: 7 weeks
• Schedule: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Pay: Local PPW $1,120/40 hrs; Local hourly $28/hr

Must-haves

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse state license
• BLS certification

Day-to-day you will

• Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician direction, focusing on patient comfort and safety
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and give prescribed medications and treatments accurately
• Evaluate and manage wounds: clean, dress, and watch for signs of infection or complications
• Monitor, record, and trend patients’ vital signs consistently
• Keep clear, detailed patient documentation and communicate care plans with patients and families, including education for self-care
• Respond quickly and appropriately during medical emergencies and follow infection control protocols
