We’re looking for a Board-Certified OB/GYN to join a hospital team in Allen, Texas for a locum tenens inpatient assignment from August 24, 2026 to November 23, 2026. This is a clinical-only role with travel and lodging covered; malpractice coverage is not specified.
You’ll be joining a busy service that handles roughly 300–400 deliveries a year and uses Epic for charting. Primary responsibilities include managing obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, covering the Obstetrics Emergency Department (OBED), assisting surgically as first assist when needed, providing backup support to in-house Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), and supporting unassigned patients.
Requirements:
- Active Texas medical license (IMLC accepted)
- Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum two years’ experience with vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections
