Locum Tenens Neurologist — Inpatient Adult Care, Epic, Travel/Lodging & Malpractice Covered

We’re looking for a Neurology physician to provide inpatient coverage in Anderson, South Carolina. This locum tenens role begins Aug 3, 2026 and continues on an ongoing basis, with specific coverage blocks initially scheduled Aug 3–9, 2026 and Oct 5–11, 2026. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with 1:1 in-house call. Travel, lodging, and malpractice are provided.

What you’ll be doing

• Admit, consult, and follow up on adult neurology patients (100% adult population; average daily volume ~20).
• Manage acute neurological conditions and coordinate care with nursing and specialty teams.
• Perform required procedures, including lumbar puncture and thrombolytic therapy.
• Document all patient encounters in Epic.

Facility snapshot

• Inpatient service at a Level II trauma center using Epic EMR.

Requirements & compliance

• Board certified or eligible in Neurology.
• Active South Carolina medical license and DEA registration.
• BLS certification required.
• Hospital privileges required; credentialing timeline ~2 months.
• Clean background check (100%); self-query NPDB report required at presentation (within 30 days).
