Key Responsibilities
- Provide care for laboring patients, attend deliveries including newborn care at delivery, and manage postpartum care for mothers and babies
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, document care, and communicate with the care team
- Follow hospital protocols and maintain BLS/NRP standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years current experience in a Birthing Center
- Demonstrated experience with laboring patients, deliveries (newborn care at delivery), and postpartum care
- Active Michigan RN license
- NRP certification
- BLS (AHA) certification
Additional Notes
- Contract/Travel assignment
- Holidays/weekends and on-call are rotating and may be required
