Job Description
Seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician to cover shifts in Brandon, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Provide acute care in the emergency department for adult and pediatric patients.
- Perform focused history and physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and document findings.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medications, procedural interventions, and minor surgical procedures.
- Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients; arrange admissions, transfers, and appropriate follow-up.
- Communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, patients, and families; complete timely medical records.
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
- Active Florida medical license.
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Proven experience working in fast-paced ED environments; strong clinical judgment and procedural skills.
- Flexible availability to cover locum shifts.

Brandon, FL — suburban community east of Tampa with full local amenities and easy access to Tampa-area resources.
