Travel OB/GYN RN — L&D, Postpartum & Nursery (13wk Contract, Waimea HI, Night/Rotating, MUST start 6/29)

Shift: Rotating (must be willing to work any shifts; preference for nights)
Hours: Must work 80 hours every 2 weeks (no exceptions)

Minimum Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years direct Labor & Delivery and couplet care experience (includes L&D, Postpartum, Nursery)
• BLS, ACLS, NRP required
• Fetal Monitoring (FM) certification
• STABLE certification
• Able to float to other departments as needed

Required Skills & Competencies

• Competent with antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, high-risk obstetric conditions (PIH, placental abruption, cord prolapse, placenta previa, VBAC, GDM, PTL, PROM, etc.)
• Care of observation and NST patients
• Newborn care: well-baby care, phototherapy, special care nursery, APGAR scoring, bulb suctioning, neonatal resuscitation, PKU, circumcision assistance
• Start adult and neonatal IVs; perform adult and neonatal accu-checks
• Assist anesthesia with intrathecal/epidural placement; monitor PCA pumps
• Attend C-sections, recover post-op patients (C-section, BTL)
• Administer and titrate Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and insulin drips
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate tracings; manage patients on Cytotec, IUPC, internal scalp electrode, amnioinfusion
• Assist with external cephalic version (ECV) and other physician procedures

Assignment Setting

• 5-bed OB unit including Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, and Outpatient Testing

Critical Conditions

• Must be able to start on the specified date/time (0700 on 06/29/2026); do not apply if unable to meet this start
• Must meet the 80 hours/2 weeks requirement without exception
