Coverage: ASAP – Ongoing
Schedule: Days, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, 4–5 days/week
Call: 1:4 (7 days of call including one weekend per month)
Travel/Lodging/Malpractice: Provided
Clinical Duties
- Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care (avg. 10–15 patients/day)
- Admit and manage inpatients only for chemotherapy; perform inpatient rounding on chemotherapy admissions
- Participate in 1:4 call rotation
- Collaborate with radiation oncology and 2 APPs
- Document and enter orders using EPIC
Patient Mix
- ~80% medical oncology, ~20% hematology
Facility & Support
- Trauma Level 3
- EPIC EMR
- Radiation oncology backup available
- Two advanced practice providers on site
Privileges & Compliance
- Hospital privileges required; credentialing ~6–8 weeks
- CAQH login/password required
- Self-query NPDB within the month required
- Must meet medical staff membership criteria
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
- Active DEA registration
- Active Oregon medical license highly preferred
- Clean background and no malpractice history highly preferred
