Locum Tenens Interventional Cardiologist — Victoria, TX (Inpatient/Outpatient; 1:1 Call)

We’re seeking an Interventional Cardiology physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Victoria, TX (77901). This role blends inpatient and outpatient care with clinical duties plus beeper call coverage on a 1:1 rotation. Coverage begins July 13, 2026 and continues ongoing. Call response time is 30 minutes.

What you’ll see day to day:

• Average patient volume about 15 per day
• 1–2 admissions
• Assigned patient rounding
• 6–8 phone consults daily, with roughly 1–2 requiring immediate attention

Facility and support:

• EMR: Athena/Medhost
• Support team includes 2 MAs, 1 PA/NP, and 1 office staff member
• Hospital privileges are required; temporary privileges are available

Requirements:

• Board certified in Interventional Cardiology
• TX medical license or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Fellowship preferred
