Requirements

• Active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state.
• Registry personnel must present state- or federally issued photo ID at the facility and wear a photo badge at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function.
• Determine diagnoses and severity levels, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia; instruct patients and families in safe-swallowing techniques and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient documentation and collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team.
