Required licensure:
- Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and implement prescribed interventions.
- Administer modalities and operate therapeutic equipment as directed.
- Teach and progress therapeutic exercise programs; instruct patients and families on home programs.
- Document treatments and patient progress accurately and timely.
- Communicate and coordinate with the Physical Therapist and multidisciplinary care team.
- Follow safety, infection control, and facility policies.
