Required credential:
- Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license
Primary responsibilities:
- Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations.
- Implement treatment plans and therapeutic activities to improve motor skills, mobility, and independence in daily activities.
- Instruct patients and caregivers in safe and effective use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
- Document and maintain accurate, timely patient records, including progress, treatments, and changes in condition.
- Follow safety and infection control policies to maintain a safe therapy environment.
