Seeking a board-certified Pediatric Endocrinologist for locum tenens coverage in Spokane, WA (99204). This assignment covers both outpatient and inpatient settings and runs ASAP through March 31, 2027. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with assigned weeknight and weekend beeper call (24-hour beeper; call ratio 1:4; 20-minute response expectation). Agency covers travel, lodging, and malpractice.
Clinical scope and volume:
- 100% pediatric population; average 8–9 patients/day
- New patient visits: 60 minutes; follow-ups: 30 minutes
- Manage pediatric diabetes and other endocrine disorders (growth, thyroid, etc.)
- Provide phone consults and minimal weekend rounding as needed
- Collaborate with clinic staff and one PA/NP to ensure continuity of care
Facility and support:
- EMR: Epic
- Support staff includes PA/NP (1); RN/MA/office support levels TBD
- Hospital privileges are required; temporary privileges are not available
Requirements:
- Board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology
- Active Washington medical license or Universal License (IMLC)
- DEA registration required
- Fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology preferred
