We’re looking for an experienced OB/GYN to join a hospital-based team in Stayton, OR for a locum tenens assignment running from July 13, 2026 through October 12, 2026. You’ll provide clinical care and 24-hour beeper call (7a–7a, off-site) on a 1:4 call rotation.

What you’ll do

• Provide continuous beeper coverage for obstetrics and gynecology.
• Manage labor and deliveries (vaginal and cesarean), with an expected average of 1–2 deliveries per day while on call (~15/month).
• Perform gynecologic surgeries, including laparoscopic cases (2–3 surgeries/week).
• Cover outpatient clinic sessions as needed (clinic volume ~18–22 patients/day).
• Work collaboratively with CNMs, CRNAs, Family Medicine physicians, and other OBGYNs for comprehensive patient care.

About the setting

• Hospital-based service with a 40-bed department.
• EMR: Epic.
• Specialty backup available from certified nurse midwives, CRNAs, Family Medicine MDs, and other OBGYNs.

Requirements

• Active Oregon medical license.
• Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• DEA registration required.
• Minimum of 2 years post-training clinical experience.

Credentialing

• Faster credentialing process: less than 30 days.

Patient population

• Care spans all ages across obstetrics and gynecology.
