Adelphi is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our school-based team in Taylors, South Carolina. You’ll work under the direction of a supervising Occupational Therapist to deliver both direct and consultative OT services that help students make meaningful progress toward their IEP goals. This is a one-year, on-site contract position that begins August 4, 2026.

What we’re looking for

  • Associate’s degree or higher from an AOTA-approved occupational therapy program
  • Valid South Carolina COTA license/certification
  • Current NBCOT certification
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in pediatric occupational therapy

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across school sites, following each student’s IEP and working under the direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Collaborate with the supervising OT and IEP team members to support student progress toward goals
  • Complete required documentation in line with AOTA standards, state licensure, Medicaid, and District procedures
  • Help implement the District’s occupational therapy program as a related service for students with disabilities
  • Participate in school-based collaboration, consultation, and service planning as needed
  • Serve as a clinical supervisor for assigned OTA college students, when applicable
  • Coordinate with the Supervising Occupational Therapist, Lead Occupational Therapist, and Director of Speech Therapy about service delivery and student needs
  • Maintain professional conduct and comply with District policies, safety standards, and applicable laws and regulations
  • Complete required training on District procedures and software after the vendor contract award
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff
