We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide school-based services across Taylors, South Carolina. You'll conduct educationally focused evaluations, deliver direct and consultative therapy aligned with students’ IEPs and 504 plans, collaborate with school teams, and support the district’s occupational therapy program—followed by applicable laws, regulations, and district policies. This is a one-year, on-site contract role starting August 4, 2026.

What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited occupational therapy program approved by AOTA
- Valid South Carolina Occupational Therapy license
- Current NBCOT certification
- Minimum of three years’ experience in pediatric occupational therapy
What you’ll do
- Complete educationally based OT evaluations for students across school sites
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services according to each student’s IEP or 504 plan
- Help develop and implement IEP/504 plans that address students’ OT needs
- Work closely with IEP teams, attend meetings, and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring
- Document thoroughly and timely, meeting AOTA standards, South Carolina licensure rules, Medicaid requirements, and district procedures
- Offer coaching and consultation to school teams about school-based OT strategies and supports
- Supervise COTAs and serve as a clinical supervisor for assigned OT/OTA students as applicable
- Coordinate service delivery and program expectations with the Lead Occupational Therapist and Director of Related Services and Program Support
- Maintain professional conduct and comply with district policies, safety standards, and relevant laws and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Occupational Therapist and/or Director of Related Services, Program Support, and Integration
